Hendrick Polanco My Deepest Condolences June 19, 2019

My condolences. It is my hope that these words of the Holy Scriptures, prove to be supportive in this difficult and painful time…..

John 11:32-45

32 And so Mary, when she arrived where Jesus was and caught sight of him, fell at his feet, saying to him: “Lord, if you had been here, my brother would not have died.” 33 Jesus, therefore, when he saw her weeping and the Jews that came with her weeping, groaned in the spirit and became troubled; 34 and he said: “Where have YOU laid him?” They said to him: “Lord, come and see.” 35 Jesus gave way to tears. 36 Therefore the Jews began to say: “See, what affection he used to have for him!” 37 But some of them said: “Was not this [man] that opened the eyes of the blind man able to prevent this one from dying?”

38 Hence Jesus, after groaning again within himself, came to the memorial tomb. It was, in fact, a cave, and a stone was lying against it.39 Jesus said: “TAKE the stone away.” Martha, the sister of the deceased, said to him: “Lord, by now he must smell, for it is four days.”40 Jesus said to her: “Did I not tell you that if you would believe you would see the glory of God?” 41 Therefore they took the stone away. Now Jesus raised his eyes heavenward and said: “Father, I thank you that you have heard me. 42 True, I knew that you always hear me; but on account of the crowd standing around I spoke, in order that they might believe that you sent me forth.” 43 And when he had said these things, he cried out with a loud voice: “Laz´a·rus, come on out!” 44The [man] that had been dead came out with his feet and hands bound with wrappings, and his countenance was bound about with a cloth. Jesus said to them: “Loose him and let him go.”

45 Therefore many of the Jews that had come to Mary and that beheld what he did put faith in him;

I was shock and sadden when I heard about Connie's death. I knew Connie for little over a year. She was kind and loved my puppy Charlie! She always threaten to take him home with her. I met Connie while staying at the Marriott and this is where we became friends. She shared many of pictures of her grandson with me and we would laugh and talk about him all the time. In addition, Connie loved for me to make her cakes and her eyes would light up every time I made one. Connie left the Marriott where I was staying, but we stayed in touched. We would compare notes about Scandal! We also found out later after I left Marriott that we were neighbors and that is where I met her boyfriend. He too was kind and one day they both helped shoveled me out of the snow!!! I didn't know her long but I was able to celebrate with her birth of a grandchild, graduating grad school, and looking forward to another grandchild. We never got the chance to go out due to both of our schedules. My lesson learn is that we should find time for family friends as we never know what the future may bring.  Rest in peace my friend!

Constant Constance

Always there, smiling, laughing with word and prayer.

Your wondrous smile shown so bright

Was Gratitude that gave you light/

The light you freely gave to us.

And Sadness fills our hearts tonight

So heaven knows what plan is this

That gives and takes with will.

Yet God allows us one respite

That we once knew you was our delight.

Your daily sojourn over now

The waves beat across the bow

A gentle drumming telling me

That at God’s heart you’ll always be.

STEVEN MCNUTT My personal loss of Connie June 23, 2015

I remember High School being such an adventure every time I was with Connie!! We had such a good time planning our next troublesome feat for the day. (Smile) Connie had such a wonderful spirit and passed that on to others she encountered along the way. I will miss her hugs, her smile and hearing her yelling my name "Stevio" when she seen me coming her way. As we ventured off into our lives we always managed to maintain a Brotherhood and Sisterhood and shared in each others joys and pains of everyday life. My heart aches for this great loss but I truly know I have my beautiful,  loving friend watching over me. RIH Connie, I will remember you always

I remember,  being in High School with Connie as an adventure.  We had such a good time everyday!!! Meeting up in different lunch areas to decide what our next troublesome feat was going to be for the day was the norm. Connie had such a wonderful spirit for life and passed that on to others she encountered.  As we ventured on in life, we chatted and managed to maintain a brother and sisterhood which I will always cherish. My heart is aching to not talk with her, hug her or just here her yelling my name "Stevio"as she always did when she seen me coming her way. I love you always my sister, RIH
